Community Service Opportunities
Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House relies heavily on the generous support of individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations. Donations help them to provide comfort and care to seriously ill children and their families, making an immediate, positive impact on those who need our assistance the most. Individual and group volunteers assist with a variety of roles, from cooking dinners or gardening to assisting in the office.
Cook Meals or Bake for families:  You can help us by cooking a meal at our House in our spacious kitchens Volunteer groups plan the menu, purchase the food, cook and serve the meal, and clean the kitchen afterwards.  Please see RMH-cnj.org website to review the calendar for open dates to serve dinner. Once you have picked an open date contact them with the information and a group name in order to confirm your request.
Collect aluminum pop tabs and bring them to Religious Education classes for recycling (we will pass them along to the House). They receive money for every pound of aluminum can tab tops collected for recycling
Holiday & Celebration Help decorate common areas, make a special meal or celebrate specific holidays and parties.
